Behind the Scenes with Kaboose Media

Last month, I took a trip to Whangarei, Kerikeri and Kaitaia with video production company Kaboose Media to take some photographs for the Immigration New Zealand LINKZ magazine.

We profiled four skilled migrants; a rural doctor in KeriKeri, a radiologist at Whangarei Hospital, a fitter turner in Kaitaia and an operations manager at the Marsden Point Refinery.

We were looking at their jobs, the far north region and how their families have settled into New Zealand life.

Here are some of my behind the scene photos from the shoot.

One of the highlights of the trip was meeting a 12 year old boy called Sean, his knowledge of camera gear, 3D printing and drone piloting were impressive.

The morning light in Whangarei provided some dramatic long shadows at the golf course.

Our first day shooting we had to stop the car to get some sunrise shots.
